That’s a lot of material removal, very cool!
Thanks! My little 5hp Syil X7 can really get after it with a 1/2" roughing endmill. It took me a longer time than I’d like to admit to figure out the best way to machine this part efficiently. If only I had a 4th axis…
Awesome design!
Is your MTB yoke compatible with non-boost chain rings? Why non-boost? To provide a superior chain line in the harder of gears when using a boost rear end. Will definitely order for a future build it can clear a 32t non-boost ring
Hi Ben, non-boost 32t isn’t an issue. Here’s the mockup with a 32t (136.1mm diameter) with a 49mm (non-boost) chainline.
Here’s some action shots of the gravel yoke courtesy of @woodpeckercycleco

-SRAM rival wide crank 165mm
-Garbaruk 38t chainring

So good. Love the look of the machined pockets when viewed from the outside too!
Will be order a gravel yoke very soon. Nice to see it on a bike.
Looks great.
Hey do you see any issues with the MTB yoke being brazed? I don’t weld if not, I’ll order one right away!
@StratoCycles does your gravel yoke work with a shimano double? Or any double?
Both T47 and BSA yokes are back in stock!
I don’t always check this forum so please reach out on instagram or my email Ryan@stratocycles.com if I don’t get back to you on here.
Any idea when the gravel yoke is coming back in stock?
Probably end of next week. I’ve got some other jobs lined up on the CNC. Watch this space.
I was wondering if you had a fusion object that I could use in my Fusion360 designs?
If not, a pdf with precise measurements would help immensely as well, I have took the measurements myself with a caliper but I would feel better to have the official ones.
Just a suggestion
I propose this “standard” for dimensioning yoke:
- BB diameter
- CS diameter and thickness
- CS spacing
- Length (BB center to plug)
