I took an early retirement at 50 to focus on restoring my health, which was severely neglected. I earned my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and I am close to finishing my Masters in computer science. I have experience in hardware design that directly applies to e-bikes, if only I liked them.

So far, I learned to weld in high school 40 years ago, and I am getting pretty proficient with Fusion 360. My plan is to use braising for my first frames.

More recently, I started a company, Chaudoir Sports LLC, to operate as an OEM/ODM selling wheelsets to custom/handmade builders and small bike manufacturers.
