I have a nice BB post I’d like to move on.
It was made in Italy by a company called Tecnal, sometime in the 1980’s. They sold a frame alignment plate system that was in some ways reminiscent of the Bringhelli C-Channel Plate, but arguably nicer quality. I included a picture of the original “System”, but none of those other pieces are included.
This thing is attached to a plate with an integral 24mm screw on the bottom of the mount. It is seriously heavy-duty. Includes the mounting Nut / washer, and the top clamping nut.
You probably should source a washer for under the top nut, too.
The integral mounting screw threads are long enough for a maximum plate thickness of 3/4". This is important - the post is not for a Granite plate or anything thicker than 3/4"
It’s designed for English or French threaded 68mm BB shells. Eyetalian thread is a loose fit - you would have to make a shim.
