BikeCAD version 23.3

BikeCAD version 23.3 is now ready for download. I didn’t announce it here, but version 23.2 was a fairly significant update with the full catalog of forks from ENVE included as well as several new dimensions, input methods, ISCG-05 tabs, Pinion C-Line gearbox, Shimano E80 motor and several new dropouts.

Unfortunately, 23.2 had an issue with reading water bottle data. That has just been rectified in version 23.3 which is now posted for download. More info at: bikecad.ca/version_23.

Also, the free online version of BikeCAD has been updated and the performance has been greatly improved thanks to CheerpJ 4.2.

Can we all take a minute to appreciate just how difficult coding is, and how frustrating it can be to make projects like this work? I have about 6 iotas of coding experience, it’s something I have vowed to leave to the experts - the idea of a completely functional piece of code breaking in a totally unpredictable way just because I added something, and then having to work out how to fix it, scares me way more than it should!

Thanks for the kind words @JoeNation!

Absolutely!
BikeCAD is an essential tool for what I do, and the constant progression is fantastic.

BTW, Brent @BikeCAD, if I supply some Curve fork shapes, can we add a few static fork drawings to the next update?

Yes! Now that the system is in place, it is relatively easy for me to add additional forks to BikeCAD. Please send me a 3D STEP or IGES file and I’ll make sure it is available in the next update.
