The first frame I built was a, to put it mildly, a bit of a disaster. Lugged frame, lots of improvisation during the build, and the geo ended up less than ideal.
So, why not go ahead and build a fillet brazed BMX for attempt number 2?
I convinced S&M to sell me two “frame kits” with unmitered tubes and pre-bent stays and proceeded with building a frame for myself. In 2017 I chipped away at the cutting and mitering during weekends and late evenings in the garage.
