As I am getting ready to start work on my first frame this is something that I am having a little trouble finding a whole lot of information on. I can see the spacing standard for traditional 2 hole cages is 2.5in, 63mm, 63.5mm or 64mm (I’ve seen all quoted and in this application I think it’s safe to say they are equivalent). With the proliferation of 3 hole setups (another 63mm on center?) as well as bosses on the top tube for bags I’m seeing less info. Can someone point me in the right direction for this?

3-pack bosses are standardized around 2.5"/63.5mm spacing as well.
I think bolt-on top tube bags have standardized on 63.5mm bolt spacing around 75-80mm from the head tube. IIRC, this standard was started by Salsa with their EXP series.

We use 63.5mm spacing and 80mm back from the head tube.
