Brazing setup share

Hi

I share here my brazing setup as I’m pretty happy with it and I tried some before to build my own. Maybe it could help some. Feel free to share your !
I’m based in France so I tried to buy local or inside EU.

  • Gasfluxer 69 (second hand with UK fittings, that’s why I choosed this one)
Well made easy to use and to refurbish. Please tell me where I could find full gasket kit inside EU.
The one thing to know is that you need 55% or more flux to make it works properly !
As a new one I’d have buy the Autoflux M3. Not as precise but works with lower rate Boric acid flux wich are easier to store and manipulate.

  • Harris 19-6 UK with 0 to 3 nozzles
Affordable sturdy well made easy to work with and to buy. I don’t feel the need for a lightweight torch.
    You’ll probably use 0 to 3 nozzles.
I run Check Valves to the torch.

  • lightweight hoses from nozalls 2,5 meter long and 3 meter of classic hoses.
It makes life easier. I think it’s the best improvment for your brazing skill.

  • “2m3” bottles from a welknown brand
Because it’s the largest bottles you can refill without anual subscription.
Second hand to save money. Good quality french brand regulators came with in pretty good condition.
I fitted new Flash Back Arrestor’s to the bottles.

  • automatic torch lighter
    cheap and easy

  • Uvex flip up shade 5
Not sure that’s the best option as it have tendancy to flip up during brazing…
Plus you have to clean 2 screens.
    Confortable good viewing.

  • Respirator
One day a fume extraction. ASAP !

A big thanks to @Dan_Chambers for the hoses !!!
