Didn’t actually see that one. Simple and cool. Not sure how it couples behind the bb, think mine will be ok. I have an alloy spacer in the middle so I can crank it up tight but will still put a drop of loctite on the thread as I couldn’t find self locking nuts in a hurry for 10x1.25. Looking forward to trying it out!

Any insight into how the seat tube split is made for a frame like this? Would the seat tube need reinforcing in some way to make it stonger around where it is split?
Sorry don’t understand exactly what you are after? The seat tube is just a Zona 31.6 internal tube with a small section welded onto the rear to take the clamp of the seat stays. Just put a small ring on it to locate the clamp then clamped with seat post bindings. I don’t have many tools so it’s pretty basic.
Apologies. My question was in response to the picture further up of the frame posted by Paul Brodie with the split seat tube held together by the seat post. I’m just wondering how one would go about making something similar.
