Thanks for the reply, that’s exactly what I had drawn up. Two 3mm plates and then weld together. Think I’m probably just going to stick with the dropouts I machine on the lathe though.

Who is using the PMW’s front flatmount bosses (here) instead of more “conventional” rear bosses (here) ?
For me pro’s would be to drill smaller holes in CS and fork leg and to extend the space between the holes. I suppose the result would be a stronger CS and fork leg.
Con’s would be the use of flat mount front plate in front and rear.
What do you think about it ?

I have been using the front flat mount adaptor on my builds. To me it’s less intrusive but the rear most bolt poistion is pretty close to the drop out. I’m just moving to a UBM style bracket That will have a single front mount horizontal bolt. That way I am able to go back to a symmetrical rear end with the same ‘UDH/UBM’ specification for the frame ends.
