Fillet Pro substitute

I’m currently building my 5th XCR frame in 5 years and am almost out of FilletPro. Does anyone have experience with Castoline 38230?

Sorry, no experience with that but I use Sif no.39 for fillets and I like it a lot. I find it easier to fillet with than fillet pro.

what flux do you use with Sif 39?

Cycle Design stainless light. Works :ok_hand: but it’s all I’ve ever used

I use Metabraze 130 (30%Ag) or SIF #39 (39%Ag) with stainless light flux.

Going to need a new flux pretty soon, though. Onto my last tub this week.

Haven’t used it yet, but this should be a good replacement.

I’m planning to get some Gasflux 38% from Firsthand Framebuilding when my Fillet Pro and SS flux runs out soon. This is from their website:

“Gasflux 38% silver is a standard AWS alloy, BAg-34, the same as CycleDesign’s (now defunct) FilletPro. If you’ve ever used FilletPro, this silver combined with our Type G flux will feel very familiar.”
