Here in Canada I had trouble finding TEN tips for my j-28/UN-j torch, and they are pretty expensive (~80 CAD or more) so I tried this adaptor to fit the cheap H01-6 tips you can get in aliexpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006326815856.html). These tips have a M6 tread and the UN-J mixer a 5/16"-27 which is the same as 1/16 NTP. Got the fitting today and works great and I like the tips. Much easier to light than the TEN tips which tend to blow out. Also better heat control.
I’m glad this is working for you and it sure looks like an affordable option.
Be aware though that 1/16” NPT is not the same as 5/16”-27. NPT is a tapered thread the latter is a parallel thread.

Holy shite, you can get a whole set of these tips on Ali for $7. I am going to order a set and try them. An adapter for a UN-J should be easy to make.
