These look like some comfy bars! Is the front part for hands/ bags/ light?
Super nice! Whatâs your bending set up?
Stoked for you!
My buddy wanted some titanium Jones bars but didnât want to spend the coin on them, so I made him a simpler version for a lot less. I hear people like the jones bar for all the reasons you mentioned above, Ive never ridden them.
Very cool! Your bends look really good.
I used a diacro bender and an aluminum 3.5â radius die that I made. I think my bends look kind of haggard.
Made these two years ago. 4130 7/8" and 1.25 .065 toobing. 55 degrees setback i think, 700 wide. I made a couple sets and my buddy wanted one so theres another set in the wild. Was exactly what i was looking for. I figured even if my joint cracked/failed the handle portion wouldnât completely fall off with the pierced design. Lol. The design of the bars requires you to dig in your collection of 90âs stems for something loooong otherwise running something shorter will have your hands essentially behind the steerer tube
Iâve never seen this design before, awesomeness!
One day my daughter came home with a bunch of kids and wanted bikes to cruise around town so I lent out about three bikes. I had these one another bike which one of the teen boys proceeded to try and jump a set of doubles on and bite it hard. Only damage was one end of the handle section of tubing in the front was slightly dented in but they were straight as an arrow. Canât say the same for him. Luckily he didnât get a core sample taken out by the open sections of the tubes. lol. Lesson learnâŚdonât be a jerk when borrowing other peoples stuff.
