Tyres are shipping to me today, hopefully I’ll have them before the end of the week.

few more - note the 32” dissector 2
Exciting times for us Sasquatches.
Even though go to Germany every year I can’t read or speak it. Will need to use translate.
Thanks for posting
Just a quick note for anyone in Europe still considering doing some 32” wheel stuff. I have aluminium rims in stock here which are way more affordable than the carbon stuff (which I also have in stock). But I am starting to run low. I’m not sure that I’m going to be restocking these. I only had them made as I wanted some for my own builds. I’m pretty sure they’ll become available generally soon, I never wanted to be a rim supplier!
I think the route of the real question we all have is, can you bump jump a curb with a 32? This will be the true measure of its success or failure. A BMX can bump jump a 2x4 with perfect grace. It’s as if the 2x4 and 20” wheel were designed for each other🤔
A thesis on that later. But what of curbs? if 32s be a good fit the the average curb… This will automize all city streets to be a bump jump playground. End of days kind of stuff. Kids riding 32s. Cats and dogs living together. The end of the 26 as we know it. Omg.
there may be a discussion of responsibility required by the frame building community.
this is of course if 32s can in fact bump jump a curb.
You’ll all be happy to know that I had quantum computer compute the numbers on this. Assuming 6” curb height. We would need 80” wheels to replicate a bump jump feel. I’ll start an 80” wheel thread.
im now fully assimilated to 32” on the front at least. my Willow 32/29 mullet is such a rad bike! im using the nextie and aspen and over the months have been keeping track of pressure. for contexts sake i ride mildly rocky, lots of wet roots and woodsy trails. This is not 4 corners, or Portes du soleil stuff. however - i have settled at 11 psi on the front got down to 9 but was too squirmy (im 90kg more or less btw).
this set up is 350g lighter at the rim than my carbon/52 external rim/minion 29x3” set up and id say in this terrain is clearly out performing it.

Schwalbe has entered the chat, finally with some gravel-sized options! Personally pretty stoked to take a crack at an XL-sized gravel bike once I can get my hands on these.
Another fork option.
Going to be slapping together a 32” gravel bike shortly. Anyone got any tips on geo or care to share geo on there previous builds? Haven’t seen much info on what people have experimented with.
This is my contribution, a bikepacking/mtb/gravel design for me being tacked together at the moment.
I’m super curious about your body measurements, That’s a short reach for a 32” wheel size.
If you’re willing to share.
also @sikocycles and @60to09 would you mind sharing body measurements? I’m super curious how 32” applies across the various body sizes.
I am 6’5” in freedom units. 240 LBS
195.5 cm 108kg
I really don’t know my measurements. Only know I like a 500ish reach.
I am very far from a bike designer. I pretty much copied the Neuhaus Nova geo
182 cm and 80 kg, pretty ordinary measurements, I used my other bikes for reference.
Size-wise I probably have no justification for 32 wheel size but was curious and needed an excuse for a new build. The goal with the geometry is a quick bike with a comfortable, upright position. I tried to minimize the wheelbase while keeping an ok front/rear balance and without risking any toe overlap, this left some margin for a longer stem than the one in the drawing. I hope to bring the bike to Storuman Gravel XL this summer and if so, I will put tri bars on it.
For those who think you must be trippin’ to want 32” wheels…
