Any tips and tricks for mitering canti brake studs? Especially to fit up with oval fork blades? I doing it by hand, mostly with emery cloth, and there must be a faster way.

I use a large rat tail file which gets me pretty close then a half round to get the miter perfect, doesn’t take more than 3 minutes per boss. The steel that those bosses are made of is super soft, if you don’t pay attention you may end up to taking too much out of the boss to make it work.
