Located in Seattle and I’m looking to borrow/rent a Pinion fixture. Happy to put down a deposit and pay for shipping. I’m not sure how many of these I’ll do so, I hesitate to buy a new one. I’m sure I could make one but, that usually turns into several side quests that I don’t have time for.
I don’t have one or I’d loan it to you, but I can advocate for just making a quick and dirty one.
I did this recently for a Shimano e-bike adapter. Shimano’s documentation showed the geometry between the mounting holes and spindle location. I drew that up in CAD, put a simple shape around it, and left a BB shell sized hole where the spindle went. SendCutSend cut the pieces for me and then it was TIG’d together.
It took maybe an hour and about $40. I made it for a friend who was building one bike with it.
