Post processing a fillet brazed joint

This is great advice, thanks! It convinced me to hold off on buying a tube sander while I learn fillet brazing.

Not a pro here, just a hobby builder for many years, but here is my .02.

Don’t flux where you do not want bronze to end up. Even heat in both tubes is key.

“Pulse brazing” by pulling the torch away and stabbing back in works really well, and seems to be a technique that develops organically after your first few frames.

I do most of my filing with an 8” half round file and have found that when working on the edges that if you start filing from the steel and push into the fillet it helps quite a bit in mitigating undercuts there.
