SOLD: Welding Table from Mountain Goat Bicycles

Own a piece of cycling history! This welding table was being used in the Mountain Goat Bicycles workshop until they closed their doors in 1997. I bought it a few years ago from a former employee who had stored it all this time. I’m downsizing and no longer need it.

The surface is 24 x 48" and sits about 32 3/4" off the ground. The tig welded tubular fence in the rear is removable - cool feature. There are three pegs on the front but not sure what they were used for. The table is beefy enough to be quite stable. It has a heavy 1/4" top and angle iron frame.

Free to a good home. Located in Ashland, OR. You haul.

Well that was easy, Rich! Let’s connect this week. I’ll send you a DM.

I think I can guess what the three pegs are for. When you come to weld the bottom of the bottom bracket, or the underneath of where the DT joins the HT, you want the frame upside down and near you like that. You sometimes even end up putting your leg through the frame to get at the foot-pedal! I have often clamped bits of square tube to the edge of the table to make this kind of support.
