Hi,
I need to make a sort of a swingarm - it’s locked in two positions. It has three sleeves/bushings:
- main pivot
- two for locking position.
And I am wondering how to make the thing parallel enough. I was thinking about machining it somehow after welding (and even boring/milling the holes). I have an old cnc mill so I can program the position to be pretty precise but I am not sure how to hold those two things, need to make a fixture. Now I am making a prototype, but if it works - I would probably need to make a setup to make it repeatable to make quite a few. I though I’d be a good idea to make the prototype the same way.
Do you guys have any advice on that? How do you assure your full-sus swingarms are parallel?
