I’m making a couple of stems this week. Do people here tend to ream the handlebar clamp part? If so, when in the process do you do it? Like do you do it before you slot the clamp? Seems like the way to go.
I’ve built stems and have never reamed but it seems like it might be a good idea.
The ones I’m making now will both be quill style with a single bolt - not a removable faceplate.
