The Canada Thread - parts sourcing - bulk ordering - heating igloos

FedEx and UPS are brutal with the brokerage fees. It’s best if you can get it shipped USPS. They only charge brokerage fees if you use the overnight shipping.
There are also a few forwarders that will accept your shipment in the US and handle the customs and bring it into Canada. Crossborder pickups is one of them. They charge $11 for a small package and you pick it up at one of their locations nearest to you. They will also ship the package directly to you once it is in Canada.

Thanks! I’ll either try USPS or get it shipped to the border next time. I’d rather spend the $115 on American beer than FedEx haha.

This is the best answer!

You could contact Paul Brodie, as he is looking for tubing.

Unfortunately most already got recycled as it needed to be moved ASAP.

Based in Vancouver and looking for paint / powder coating options. Anyone local care to share who they use for frame finishing?

Quality Powder Coating in Richmond will powder coat a frame and fork for $150. The guy is very familiar with bicycles and does a good job. It must already be sanslbasted, and I’d say its not quite as durable as an off the shelf bike.

Five Degree in Delta is around $350, including blasting it for you. I havent used them, but their Instagram is sick.

Thats where I would start anyways. Good luck!
