Hi everyone. I am trying to add some shimano v brake bosses to a pair of 26 “ front forks. The closest I can get the bosses together is 95mm. Wondering if should look for another set of bosses or can I get away with 95mm boss spacing?

Do you have the brakes and rim in hand? If so, measure how everythign stacks up and compare it to the required boss spacing. It might work, it might not
If it doesn’t then you might have to make some extensions. I did this by taking 1mm 4130 sheet and welding them onto the bosses as “arms”. Then I coped them to match the fork leg profile. Tacked it all in place with TIG and then filled it in with bronze. Sorry I don’t have a photo but it should work.
