Wall thickness for stems?

Hello,

I am currently in the designing process of building a trapezoid fork and therefore I need to build a stem with included linkage. Since I have never built a stem before I was wondering what the “standard” wall thickness is that you guys would recommend. I was aiming for 1,5mm, what do you think about that?

Thank you very much, that helps a lot and my 1,5mm wall thickness was a good starter.
