I have some VAR stuff I acquired in a lot of tools, and I need to get some additional pieces for it. Specifically I’m looking for the set of T47 taps + guides/facer, but I really like their stuff and would like to be able to keep them as an option.
However it seems that Mel Pinto Imports (the only distributor in the USA) doesn’t sell direct to customers, only to dealers. As I’m just getting started and don’t have a business account, I’m hoping one of you might be set up through Mel Pinto as a reseller where I can buy from you! Not looking for any special pricing, just want the ability to buy the stuff!
Let me know if anyone is set up for this or has a different way to get this stuff in the states without crazy shipping/grey markets.
(Will update here as my saga continues) I reached out to Velo Orange since they’re a VAR dealer asking if they can special order, and got told no. The search continues!
Did you ever get the tools you wanted? I need a disc facing tool and this thread came up - I just filled out the form for an MPI account, and no reason they should take issue. Happy to order whatever you need if you’re still looking.
