I’ve been a long-time enthusiast of frame building, and this is my first post here.
I recently acquired an “almost complete” Nortac Frame Fixture and Fork fixture. I’m hoping to find someone who might have information that could help me use this fixture effectively. There’s not much information available about it online. I’ve found a few Images and little discussion.
Most the information I have on how its set up is from an old Flickr album from when Tony Pereira was selling his in 2007.
PARTS I AM MISSING, I am trying to see if the former owner, who wasn’t a frame builder, might have them misplaced in his storage.
-Bottom Bracket cones, I have the rod they mount to but not the cones
-Rear Dummy axle, all of it is gone.
I’d like to upgrade my frame and fork fixtures by using Anvil style dummy axles. I have an idea of how to do it, but I’m not a machinist.
I would be interested to see the instruction that came with the jig to help me figure out how best to set it up and utilize. In Tony’s Album, there is an image of the instructions.
I haven’t seen any information about the fork fixture out there.
In conclusion, if you have any information, images, experiences, or spare parts related to the Nortac, please let me know. I’m interested in learning how to recreate or upgrade it.
