Is anybody looking to get rid of a lug vise? Not sure I’m clever enough to make my own.

I’ve made a lug vise that looks like this from scrap.
- 2 slots in a tube 180-deg opposite from each other.
- drill a hole to fit a bolt
- braze a nut
- use the bolt to force the walls of the tube apart thereby gripping the inside of the lug.
Just make sure you’re using a tube that has a decent wall thickness.
If your vise is long enough you can put it in a tubing block and then put that in your bench vise.
