microshift makes an Advent with a super short cage that supposedly works up to a 38T, not that you would need a 38 anyway.
I plan to use it on my minivelo once I make sure all is good.

I’m slowly leaning towards hammering my own fenders, there’s really not much to choose from on the market. Copper looks very tempting.

Hi Y’all, finally had the time to whip up a front mounted rack for my Brooks Scape small pannier. I was thinking od using the brompton front bag system for a while but it’s just so bulky.
The whole thing is attached to the headstock via M6 threaded weld ons

I was also looking for some nice lights which would fit the build, there was a great deal for a lezyne femto set so I pulled the the trigger. Turns out they have an M24x1,5mm internal thread on them and that should match somę of the automotive oil pan plugs on the market - that gave me the idea to make metal mounts for the lights fixed to the frame. Will post as soon as I have the opportunity to test fit my theory.
Also, I did a couple of shakedown rides with the front rack and the Brooks Scape pannier attached. This is becoming my favourite city errand run setup.
There’s one more thing on the list, I’m currently waiting for some bromton fender blades I managed to find used online. Will have to fabricate some hardware for them of course.
